Samsung NX20 Review

Whether you are an amateur or professional photographer, the new Samsung NX20 would surely take your photography experience to the next level. A product of one the world’s leading brands in electronics and gadgets, Samsung NX20 is one of the first wi-fi enabled cameras in the globe.

The Pros
Wireless Connectivity

Undoubtedly, this is one of the most apparent advantages of the new Samsung NX20 over its predecessors and competitions. Since it’s wi-fi enabled, you don’t have to utilize another device or insert a card just so you can connect the World Wide Web and be able to share and spread your captured snapshots and videos. With the new Samsung NX20, you capture moments through your camera lens and instantly share them on the web as long as you’re in a wi-fi hotspot zone.
Electronic Viewfinder Provided

Unlike the average AMOLED screen, the new Samsung NX20 provides an electronic viewfinder with 144,000 dots resolution, enabling one to take good images even in bright conditions. It has a proximity sensor that automatically switches and sets the ideal view between the EVF and the screen. This will spare one from the hassling act of switching the view each time.

Enhanced Video Experience
With Samsung NX20, there is no more fussing over limited and poor video captures. This superb camera allows you to capture 1080 high-definition video clips and record them for 25 minutes straight at 30 frames per second. It also comes with an autofocus that helps you capture good clips even in fast motions; however, it can be a little slouchy when the motion gets very rapid.

The Cons

Buttons can be too small for one
The control buttons are alright, actually. But people with larger fingers might have a hard time operating them. It can be a little fiddly pressing one button after another. Nevertheless, the buttons are positioned ideally and are easy to reach. For a quick adjustment of the image quality, you can use the Fn button to save you the fiddly part of navigating through the main in-camera menu.

No significant advantage on AF in low light conditions

Samsung NX20 takes really good images. However, when in low light conditions, the gadget isn’t really the best in the world. It provides no significant advantage over its predecessor and competitions. It’s a great travel camera, but making improvements on its AF would make it even greater.

It costs quite a fortune

Apparently, the new Samsung NX20 is one of the most expensive CSCs available in the market today. Should you really want to have one for your own, you’d have to prepare yourself to shell out around $100-1200 from your pocket. But with its impressive specs and rich features, the price is actually all worth it.

Keep it or give it away as a gift, the new Samsung NX20 is really a great pick. This wi-fi enabled camera lets you have fun capturing beautiful moments and connect to your friends through social networks all at the same time. It might cost you quite a lot, yes, but it’s really worth the price.
